William Jerome Gerst, age 67, died on Tuesday, January 24, 2012 at his home.  He was born on March 2, 1944 to John Gerst of Saginaw, Michigan and Gabriella "Ella" (Zenz) Gerst of Darlington.  He was a longtime friend to Margaret Salinas of St. Paul, MN and was married to Christine Becker of St. Paul, MN.

Twins, Griffin Jeffrey and Avery Lu Heibel, were born on Friday, January 27, 2012 at St. Mary's Hospital in Madison, WI. Griffin and Avery passed away peacefully in the arms of family on January 27, 2012, just a short time after entering the world. In that short time, Griffin and Avery experienced grasping their Mommy and Daddy's fingers, many hugs and kisses and hearing the words "I Love You" an uncountable amount of times. Griffin and Avery will be forever loved and missed.

Dolores E. Brandt, age 94 of Sauk-Prairie/Middleton, WI passed away on Friday, January 27, 2012 at St. Mary’s Hospital in Madison, WI. She was born August 11, 1917 in Hillpoint, WI to Herman W. and Emma M. (Hennings) Ruehlow. She was united in marriage to Everett O. Brandt on March 6, 1943 in Tuckertown, WI. They farmed in LaValle area prior to moving to Black Earth and Madison, WI. Everett passed away on November 3, 2003. She loved to bake, cook and craft. She was a member of St. Andrew Evangelical Lutheran Church in Middleton, WI.

Elmer C. Schult, age 90 of Mt. Horeb, WI died on Thursday, January 26, 2012 at his home with his family by his side. He was born April 11, 1921 in Belmont, Wisconsin to Conrad and Eda (Schuldt) Schult. He was united in marriage to Anna L. Holtz on July 17, 1941 in Dubuque, Iowa. They farmed in Belmont area for many years. In 1960, they moved to Mt. Horeb and farmed for several years, he then drove milk delivery truck for Bowman Dairy and drove for Symdon Motors. He enjoyed playing softball both fast and slow pitch for 65 years. He loved the outdoors and was an avid hunter, and fisherman with his sons.
