Fr. Robert J. Brophy

Rev. Fr. Robert J. Brophy, of Madison and formerly of Mt. Horeb died on Saturday, June 1, 2002 at the Nazareth House in Stoughton. He was born July 31, 1929 in Lone Rock, WI to James D. & Nona E. (Hennessy) Brophy. He was ordained a priest May 26, 1956.

Mass of Christian burial will be at 10:30 AM on Wednesday, June 5, 2002 at St. Ignatius Catholic Church in Mt. Horeb, WI with the Most Rev. Bishop William Bullock presiding and the Most Rev. Bishop George Wirz concelebrating with the priests of the diocese. Friends may call from 4-8 PM on Tuesday, June 4, 2002 at St. Ignatius Catholic Church in Mt. Horeb where a prayer service (office of the dead) will be at 6:00 PM. Also, a morning prayer service will be at 7:30 AM on Wednesday at the Church.
