Scott James LaPorte

Scott James LaPorte of Mount Horeb went to be with his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, Saturday, June 1, 2002, at the age of 36.

Scott is survived by his son, Alexander; his grandfather, Burnell Halverson of Mt. Horeb; his father, James (Susan) La Porte of the town of Delafield; his sisters, Angela (Fawel) Wolosz of Waukesha, Leslie Lovelien of Watertown; and his brother, Thomas (Heather) LaPorte of Waukesha. He is also survived by many aunts, uncles and cousins. He is preceded in death by his mother, Virgene LaPorte; his brother, Brandon LaPorte, and his grandmother, Maxine Halverson.

Memorial services will be held at Evangelical Lutheran Church, 315 E. Main St., Mt. Horeb, Thursday, June 6, 2002 at 11:00 am. The Ellestad Funeral Home is serving the family.

Scott was an avid artist, loved guitars and music, and had a heart and soul full of love. He will be deeply missed by his family and friends.
