Crawfordsville, Indiana/Mt. Horeb

Margaret A. Smith, age 91, of Mt. Horeb, WI, and formerly of Crawfordsville, Indiana, died on Wednesday, August 14, 2002 at Ingleside Nursing Home in Mt. Horeb, WI.

The former Margaret A. Andrews was born October 15, 1910 in Marion, Indiana to Albert and Grace Andrews.

She taught music and art at the elementary school level.

She married the late Maurice A. Smith on June 15, 1940.  Maurice died in 1991.

She was a member of Wabash Avenue Presbyterian Church in Crawfordsville, Indiana.

Survivors include, her son:      Michael (Terry Barton) Smith of Black Earth

                        2 Grandchildren:            Andrew Smith

                                                            Tatiana Smith

                        A sister:            Marjorie Egger of Knoxville, TN

And several nieces, nephews and friends.

Graveside services will be held  on Monday, August 19, 2002 at Oak Hill Cemetery in Crawfordsville, Indiana.

The Ellestad Funeral Home, 500 N. 8th St., Mt. Horeb,WI, is serving the family.

A memorial fund will be established at Nature Conservancy-Indiana Chapter, 1505 N. Delaware St., Suite 200, Indianapolis, IN 46202.
